It’s now time to start planning the details of your wedding. The first thing you must consider is where you’re going to throw this shindig. As the guest gets list longer, you want to be able to accommodate all of her friends and family as well as yours. Following a few key tips may help you decide the perfect location for your perfect day.
Convenience: Remember, it’s not just you and your bride that you have to keep in mind; it’s all your guests as well. Make sure wherever the destination it’s a place that everyone can make time in their schedule to get to. Although you may desire an island paradise for your wedding, not everybody can afford a plane ticket to Honolulu. Always be conscientious.
Scenery: Know ahead of time the ideal backdrop. Keep in mind you want scenery that almost matches the beauty in the eyes of your bride. Be aware of what the weather forecasts. There’s nothing worse than rain on your wedding day –mushy cake, salty guests, livid wife. Also consider that knowing the scenery will be very beneficial to your deciding on florals and cake designs.
Reception: Though the main event is the wedding, the main draw is the reception. Wherever you plan on cementing your nuptials, make sure the reception hall isn’t terribly far away. People love weddings –love seeing the ones they care about with the person of their dreams. But let’s be real, everyone wants a party at the end. Make sure that you consider proximity.
Everyone loves a happily ever after –two star-crossed lovers riding off into the sunset. Be sure when the time comes to say “I do”, you’ve found the perfect spot that you’ll remember as long as you both shall live.
