The Do It Yourself mentality probably started in the field of home improvement and is now pervasive in all forms of use. DIY wedding invitations are probably featured the most as they make sense. More often than not, the bridal couple performs a gross injustice of mulling over a hundred types of invitation cards, possibly ending up in a pre-marital dispute. It may be better to put the same heads to work on an invitation which depicts their feelings for one another as well as to those being invited. Since this is the formal indication of the impending occasion, its aesthetics need some careful attention. If the bride is into flowers, spices and all things nice, whereas the groom is a sports mania, some work is needed to draw a merging of souls and taste.

Albeit folding origami flowers may incur a paper cut or two, this personal touch can be time spent well. Perhaps incorporating this activity as part of the bridal shower may be an idea worth toying with.
Since the fridge door is normally the bulletin board in most homes, adding a functional yet cheap element to DIY wedding invitations make the perfect fridge magnet. This way, there is no excuse in forgetting one’s wedding nor misplacing of the card. Whoever said one needed to be a rocket scientist to send man to the moon? All it takes is intent observation and careful deduction, hence the zero effect.
