Creative and Unique Wedding Invitations
Weddings are important and memorable events wherein the presence of each guest is important. Such milestone in every couple’s life deserves nothing more than the best details from wedding invitations to the ceremony itself all the way to the wedding reception.
Wedding invitations serve as every guest’s passport to the occasion. It is just natural and ethical to pay attention to the most essential details particularly on the concept. There are many ways to come up with unique and creative invitations for your wedding. Besides the conventional invitations that people are accustomed to which are made from specialty papers sealed in scented envelopes, there are many other wonderful concepts that you can keep in mind.
For example, if you are planning on having a beach wedding, you can go for a message-in-a-bottle type of invitation wherein the wedding details are written in a piece of paper, rolled and then put inside a bottle filled with sea shells and sand. Lock it up with a cork and then decorate the bottle with a ribbon bearing your names and your wedding invitation is all set – beach style!
Another concept is scroll-type invitation which can be done with the use of parchment paper and light wood or metal for a royal and fairytale touch. If you would rather have traditional wedding invites, you can still add a touch of creativity to make them more unique. You can make use of recycled paper or other special kinds of papers and decorate them with fancy ribbons and ties. For more unique concepts, you can add something that represents the theme of your wedding.
Other concepts that are also creative and unique include the use of hand-made native materials, ethnic details or collage-type invites with pictures (or even caricatures) of the groom and bride. To make a traditional wedding invitation more interesting, you can replace the plain envelope with a small bag, lace and ribbon or other catchy yet classy materials.
